Not sure what this is called, but it is my go-to meal when I am not feeling inspired to cook. Saute garlic and onions in olive oil. Brown the turkey. Throw in frozen spinach, a can of diced tomatoes. Let simmer awhile. You can serve this over rice or with noodles (if you use noodles it's kind of like a homemade hamburger helper, I guess).

Oh, there is also a great turkey picadillo recipe that I got out of Cooking Light several years ago..

Very easy and WONDERFUL with a simple salad of mango, avocado and grape tomatoes.

Oh yay! I'm glad they liked it! My girls love it too! I originally got it out of the magazine and it was paired with the mango salad I mentioned. The flavors work REALLY well together.

2 1/2 cups chopped,peeled mango
1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
1/2 cup chopped peeled avocado
1/4 cup sliced green onion
2 T fresh cilantro
2 T lime juice
1/2 t salt

Toss and chill.

SO yummy! I tend to double this, as everyone LOVES it.
