My 21 month old just made his first intentional pun! (At least the first that I know about...)
We were talking about an empty exhibit at our local zoo and DS said "Theo and mama don't know what animal lives there...might be kangaroo! Might be bat! Might be porcupine!" We were taking turns naming animals that it might be.
He said "might be guinea pig!" and then he looked at me with a huge smile and said "might be piggy guin!" and we both cracked up
