Pain while exercising

It's been just over two years since I had my daughter via c-section.

I have just now begun trying to run again. I'm carrying weight in the front still, especially in my lower stomach area, and notice that I have a lot of discomfort in that area, as well as corresponding back pain.

Are there wraps or supports that I could use until I can gain muscle in my stomach area again? It's really uncomfortable and, at times, painful. Around the last 20 minutes of exercising, I will often walk/run holding my lower stomach or massaging my back because I feel the discomfort so strongly.

Thank you!

I don't know if this will help you but I have a friend who was in the same boat as you. She had a lot of residual pain from her c-section incision. She ended up seeing a specialist who told her that a lot of her problems were from the scar tissue (not just the skin itself but also the muscle underneath). She did some massage for the scar tissue and they showed her how to do it herself. She said it was quite painful at first but now she's doing much better.

Thank you for this advice. I've made an appointment, and will ask about this at my next visit. Thank you again!
