I am due anyday and both my kids have come down with some sort of virus. Diarreah and some nausea, though no throwing up yet. I wouldn't worry too bad except that when I go to have this little one, I will have him and come home the same day, which will expose my newborn to whatever this is. How much do I need to worry about my newborn getting this if I have him anytime soon? I know it will most likely run its course, but I do worry about exposing a new baby to any sickness. What would you do?

, mama!My ds got really sick the week I was due with my dd. I just took care of him like I normally would and babied myself a bit. In my mind, I told dd she would just have to wait bc her big brother needed me right now. So tell that little one to stay in a bit longer!
But if baby comes before the big kids are feeling better, do you have family they could stay with for a few days? Or a big enough home that the older kids can be in a separate space away from you and baby?
Our house is big enought we could try to keep them seperate, but that may be hard as one of them is 19 months old and very attached to mama. This is going to be a big adjustment for her!!!! I think they are feeling better already, so maybe this is just a 24 hour bug I pray. They are both eating again and playing more.

Probaby will be over soon.I would give my kids charcoal and take it myself to absorb viral produced toxins- if the kid is too little to take it then blackened toast ( for us the gluten free kind) same idea mostly I am concerned that you could start labor exhausted, so try and rest as much as possible. I had one time a mom of 3 and each kido got sick delayed from the other so strung out the illness for days and days and she was getting very little sleep, she didn't get sick but did start labor exhausted and it was not simple.
Take care
