help finding knit pants pattern

I am looking for a free pattern to make some cotton knit pants for my toddler. I am wanting size 3 and 4 T. I can only knit flat as I am a very new knitter. I have looked on line but am not having much luck finding anything above size 2T. Any help would be very appreciated!

I have yes and the ones that are free and seem easy enough for a very new knitter (not cableing and such) don't go up to the size I need.

Circular needles will be a BIG help in doing pants and open up a ton of patterns to you. My third project I started using them (on a soaker), they aren't that hard to do, just cast on then start knitting from the beginning of your CO row instead of the end, pulling the first stitch tight. The first video here shows it: http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/advanced-techniques . The other option is to do one of the few that are worked flat and multiply everything to get enough stitches for the size you need.
