The weather looks like it's getting cooler so I'm all excited about playing outside this week as much as possible!

So Wednesday... have we checked out Shiloh Park in Morrisville before? If so, I don't remember it How about we try it out this week?

Can't wait to see you all!

Sounds good to me--we plan on coming again! We're only about 15mins from that park, so that would be awesome.

It was so nice having some adult interaction, especially with like-minded mamas!

Awesome! See you there.

It is right down the road from me, so I'll scope it out tomorrow.

We should be back by then so we'll plan to come, barring vacation exhaustion!

Yay! Can't wait to see you all! Anybody want some apples?

Oh and Zoe - we're trying out kefir making tonight thanks to your encouragement about how easy it is - yay!

Charlotte--let me know how it goes! I don't have much experience with the freeze dried variety, but I should have enough grains for you + Miriam, if you want to try that route.

Charlotte, I would loooove some apples. Especially now that I finally paid off my blueberry debt.

Are there any local apple picking places? I'd love to get a ton and make a bunch of applesauce.

CurlyFry, can't wait to see you guys again! Hope vaca went well!
Krista- which carriers are yours? I want to get them dedoghairified.

Speaking of carriers, if anyone has any MTs or SSC's I can just try on during playgroup, I am looking to "upgrade" from my Ergo, and am a little overwhelmed by the choices! I wasn't much of a MT lover with DS (had a mom tai and a freehand), and the Ergo has always been our workhorse, so I think I might prefer a SSC?

...thanks

Anyone else hitting story time at B&N tomorrow? I'm guessing obxbound will be there. K was already excited about it tonight, singing "Twinkle" and "head........toes. Eyes. Nose." I love this age.

So when/where is this? We have been looking for a good storytime...but havent really been looking good enough to find one. We would love to check it out, if the ages are right.

We will almost definitely be there on Wednesday.

Story time is at the B&N in Cary, on Maynard across from Cary Towne Center. They have "toddler" story time on Tuesdays at 10am. Here is their calendar with more info http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/store/2647
