Hi mamas,
I see a lot of threads here where parents are ready to get their children into their own beds and need help convincing the child. So I guess I kind of had the idea in my mind that me and DH would be the ones to decide when cosleeping would stop. But my 15 month old son seems to have other ideas. He always used to snuggle in next to DH or I. But lately, he doesn't. I posted a few weeks ago in this forum about him kicking and tossing a lot at night. Well, he's still doing that, and now he's pushing away from us. He seems to want a lot of space around him now. So I'm wondering if he wants to sleep in his own bed, or if this is just a brief phase. I really don't want to stop cosleeping... he is full of energy, and spends all day running around. Cosleeping is kind of my snuggle time with him, the only time that he will be still and I can spend calm time with him. So I don't really want to give it up. But, he seems to want his own space to sleep.
Anyone else been through this? Did your child end up coming back to cosleeping at some point?
