Logistics of coconut oil in a smoothie

I recently got a blender and I've been making smoothies for breakfast. I've read a lot about the benefits of adding coconut oil to a smoothie, but I'm wondering if someone can give me some insight on the logistics of this.
Given the current temperature of my house, my coconut oil is semi-solid with some liquid on top. I've poured the liquid off into the blender, but when it blends up, I end up with very small solid chunks of coconut oil in the smoothie. It's not gross or anything, just strange.
So for those who add coconut oil to smoothies, how do you do it?

Melt in a little stainless latte pitcher, w blender running, drizzle it in slowly. It does solidify pretty quickly, so you want to pour it in slowly so the pieces are small.

Alternately, if you're using any room temp ingredients, you could blend those w the co first and then add the cold things.

Thanks! I might try blending it with the room temp banana before adding anything else.
One of my problems is the glass blender jar getting cold, so the oil solidifies to the side of the jar. I'm hesitant to keep putting coconut oil in there if it's just gonna end up stuck to the side of the blender jar.

I've had success with putting a dollop of CO in first, a drizzle of honey, the liquid part of the smoothie (like kefir or yogurt), and giving it a whiz up. Then I add the fruit part, whiz it all up again. Almost all the time, the CO blends in very well. I have trouble getting it to blend if I add it last. For some reason, I end up with clumps of CO, which no one likes.

I get the little solid bits too and just chew them up
