Question about 'ignoring' another member, and I-phone access

Thread Starter
Hi,

When I place someone on my ignore list, can they still see my posts? I assume they can, but it would be nice to know. Is there anyway to make my posts invisible to them?

On a different subject, is Mothering considering creating an I-phone application to make accessing the forums from an I-phone easier? I would just love that!

Thanks,
Julia

Hi! When you place someone on Ignore, it only affects what you can see. You won't be able to see their posts, they can still see yours. They won't be able to send you PMs or contact you via the forums.

Right now, Mothering isn't working on creating an iPhone app for forum access. We do have a mobile skin that is available in the skin drop down menu at the bottom left, which makes the views more mobile device compatible.

I just wish that when someone quote someone on ignore it also blocked the ignored persons quotes. Instead I just have to use mental ignore LOL.
