Anyone working more than one job?

As my sig suggests, I run a home daycare, and have kids here for about 50 hours a week. I have lost a couple of kids this fall to go to school, and now there is a huge glut of childcare spaces in my town so I am not sure if I will be able to fill those spots for a while. Meanwhile, money is tight.

So I am starting to apply for part-time, seasonal retail positions for the Christmas season. DH already works full time as well and also delivers papers, so he is not in position to get another job. It has to be me.

I am fortunate that at least I get to be with my daughter in my primary job, so it is not like I will never get to see her.

I am also looking forward to doing something with minimal responsibility with adults instead of kids. I have worked in retail before, and enjoy it for the most part.

I am worried about fatigue, and finding time to get stuff done, as well as having time to myself.

Has anyone BTDT?

Both DH and I currently have a full time and a half time jobs. It's tough, but we are trying to get out of a financial hole, so we're hanging on. Additionally DH needs to finish his thesis work, and that's been a major point of stress in his life.
Finding time to get stuff done is definitely a challenge, and I must admit, I am looking forward to ending my half job and focusing all my mental energy in 1 place. Learning to be more efficient and having a lot of compassion for each other when under stress has been the biggest help. Luckily both our jobs are performance based, so we can get away with working fewer hours if we use our time well. The work just keeps piling on however.

I have 2 part time jobs. And its HARD seriously hard to budget time. I work serving 3-4 nights a week-about 20h a week then work retail at H&M. Honestly the past 2 weeks I havent been scheduled at H&M and it's been REALLY nice. But then they called me asking me to work a ton until xmas..and I'm going to try but honestly I dont think I can handle it!

Serving though is great! 3h shifts only sometimes can be 8+, always walking out with some form of cash and then geta pay check every two weeks. My last pay check for 2 weeks was 360ish and I made about 400 in tips that 2 weeks and worked 20 hours each week. The only down side is money can leave FAST when you have cash in hand. You finish work, go to the gas station and theres the 50 bucks you just made. and then you wonder where your money goes
