I need some help. Our health insurance expires at the end of this month, and I am trying to find new health insurance. I am thinking that we can avoid the traditional health insurance (wellness and sick child visits - it will be cheaper to pay out of pocket for these than the premium and the copay and the deductible, plus we are all generally pretty healthy, knock on wood and we can utilize all of those drugstore clinics that are popping up), but I'd like to find some sort of disaster insurance (like broken bones, heart attacks, softball to the face, that sort of thing). Can anybody recommend a compnay or offer some advice? Time is of the essence, so quick responses are most appreciated. If you are not allowed to post the company, PM is fine.
