what kind of milk?

So I'm concerned I'm not producing enough breastmilk right now and I am trying to not have DS become dehydrated. (He was a little bit a few days ok...I could tell by this bm)

He does not tolerate dairy or soy. What would be this next best thing?

Oat? Rice? Almond?

He's almost 1 year. I'm not planning on stopping breastfeeding and I'm letting full access, but being pregnant I don't know what else I can do.

Coconut, not the kind in the refrigerated section. You want the full fat kind.

But also bone broth is a good option at this age.

Do you mean this kind in a can? isn't it usually solid? how do you make it not? or coconut water?

The stuff in a can is only solid cause' its seperaetd out into fat & liquid... just mix it back together... sometimes even just shaking the can violently before opening does the trick

Have you tried to stimulate more milk production?

I would make sure that you're well hydrated for starters. But there's also a tea that I used by Traditional Medicinal called Mother's Milk Tea which worked really well for me.

In fact, it worked a little too well since I drank too much and I filled up with milk to the point that it was painful. But this within the first couple of months of giving birth.

It's worth a try!

the stuff in the can. I do dilute it A bit so it flows a bit easier, but you definitely do not want coconut water, which has no fat in it. And while id be comfortable using CM for 1 or 2 bottles a day (so maybe 8-10 oz total), i would look to another option if he needs more supplementing than that.

I dont believe this is recommended during pregnancy. Being pregnant, the options to stimulate more milk production are limited.

This. We started with organic milk, but ultimately we felt more comfortable doing formula. It hurt, but I had to admit that the reasons I was hesitating about the formula were more emotional than based in reason.
