teething

My 10mo is teething and is so miserable. She is pulling her ears, rubbing her head, feverish and biting anything she can get a hold of. I've tried an assortment of homeopathic remedies. I let her chew on a toothbrush that has a massaging pad on one end. She got a hold of a playmate's Sophie giraffe and LOVED it. Is there something similar that is not made of latex? I am allergic. Any other teething ideas?

Check out the Cell Salts thread in Health & Healing, it's the long thread, I'd use the Search function to find it. I think several cell salts help with teething, for my 6-year old daughter, a combo of bioplasma, which we take every day, and calc phos when her teeth hurt, has been great. Yeah, who knew that 6-year molars can hurt when they come in? I had no idea. But there may be another cell salt or two that are often recommended in addition to calc phos, I read some descriptions and tried this and it's worked for her.

I'd alternate calc phos and mag phos for cell salts. I'd suggest this over homeopathic remedies actually if you've already tried a few.

My son cut four teeth before getting an amber necklace (top and bottom) and has since cut 5 more with. The difference was night and day! He was miserable, in pain, didn't sleep or eat well and drooled like crazy. The necklace helps a lot, he is now cutting molars and apart form the odd day, he is doing great!  I got one from http://butter-n-honey.com and its knotted between each bead and has a safety clasp. If it gets caught on something it will break and if it breaks only one bead will come off. I would do anything to help my baby when he's in pain so I tried it and it worked!
