Hi- I'm back with more questions. I recently had my baby's titer level checked. The results came back below minimum levels. My baby received three doses and is due for the booster. Has anyone ever had their baby's titer level checked? I've been doing research and have read that immunity isn't acheived well in infancy thus the booster is needed. Also read that once the vaccine is recieved there is a period of time of suseptability (sp?)? Is this mainly with the Hib vaccine or with all vaccines? I am traveling in a few weeks and am still on the fence about what to do. My baby has had a prior vaccine reaction but the pediatrician feels it was due to Dtap (pentacel was given). I'm a very selective with vaccines but do feel that the Hib vaccine is important. Especially in light of the outbreak last year.
