House Season 7

The season of Huddy.

Last night was better than I expected but I still found a lot of it really hard to take:
  • Really, House can *pickup* a grown woman? I know Cuddy is petite, but really? He has virtually no thigh muscle on one leg and he picked her up with little/no effort.
  • The love scenes lack passion. I just don't get any chemistry from them at all. They were nicely choreographed, though.
  • Mothers don't turn off their cell phones like that, especially not mothers who are used to being in control like Cuddy. Who had Rachel all day (and all night the night before)?
  • Not enough Wilson.
  • Not enough medicine.

I have no idea how to do spoiler tags, so I won't post exactly what had me cracking up last night...but it involved Wilson in the kitchen.

I can already tell that I'm not going to be a Huddy fan.

This is the part that really bugged me. Even if we're supposed to assume that R was with her nanny or at gma's house, a mom wouldn't turn off her cell phone when no one knows where she is and no one can get in touch with her.

In any case, this epi didn't really feel like "Season Premier" - it was more like "Season Finale Epilogue" or something. I want more hospital (and Wilson )

yes. I thought this episode was so craptastic. I hope they fix it, because I can't take a whole season of this. Cuddy and house had absolutely no chemistry and all the script seemed so out of character for everyone.

I did think the writing was okay. DH and I laughed a lot...

I actually didn't mind the house/cuddy dynamic as much as I thought I would, but it was so isolated that it's hard to get a feel on it (which I assume they did on purpose).

DH and I were uncomfortable... we kept shifting in our seats and giving each other wtf glances? And... does anyone know if olivia wilde is just off the show? first kal pen, and now this. I'm upset-- this was my favorite show for years!

She's still around (she finally made it into the credits!!!) but she was filming Tron & Cowboys and Angels while they were filming the first few episodes of the season. I think she comes back much later in the season. They have Amber Tamblyn coming in for a while.

Horrible episode. I really hope that it doesn't start going down hill now.

It was hilarious when Cuddy turned off her cell phone my dh looked at me and said "OH NO SHE DIDN'T...a MALE writer wrote that part!"

I was soo very proud of dh

Last night was painful. When did House become a Grey's Anatomy spinoff?

I did sort of like that Taub and Foreman were playing 'shipper wars, though.

It was hard to see Flo as, well, anyone but Flo.
