Worth it to buy a book?

I just started part-time ECing with my almost 7 month old. I'm reading a copy of Diaper Free Baby that I checked out from the library and am wondering if I should have one of my own. Do you find yourself referring to it (or another book) often? Or are the resources online sufficient? There is a local EC group, but I work full time so I don't think I'll be able to make it to many meetings. Thanks!

We have been ECing DD pretty much full time since she was 6 weeks and I have not even read any of the EC books never mind owning one! So I wouldn't say that it is a must but everyone is different! I got all my info online!

We've been ECing since 7m and DD is 10mo. I'd say we are successful. 0-4 misses a day, dry 3/4 nights. Never read a book. Got all my info online! Thak you forums

I've never re-read it. I mean, really, it's pretty straightforward once you know what you're doing, and we have MDC and other places for trouble-shooting; that's more specific anyway. Great book and glad I bought it, but I don't use it as a reference book.
