Blood types.

Just curious.

Is it possible to find out your blood type any other way then going to a lab and having them draw blood from a vein?

That's a good question...I know mine because I donated blood in high school and the lab sent us a donation card...

It works fine if you just want to know your blood type.

Yep. I got a card, similar to the one in the link in the previous post. I did it myself.

I did it myself because all my docs refused to tell me.

But now I am pregnant and the MW says that in case of transfer the hospital wouldn't accept my card. They'd want to see it as part of the routine bloodwork. So when we get around to doing the required STD testing we'll do blood type too.
