Pediped grip n go?

Anyone try these yet? Do you like them? DD (27 months) has worn Pediped Flex and See Kai Run. (She also has a pair of Converse for the playground.) Somewhere in my shoe-hoarding from sales where I bought ahead several sizes, I neglected to acquire any shoes in a size 6. I saw the new grip n go and they look lots more flexible than the Flex and thought we might give them a try. They are very new, however, so I don't have any reviews to go by. I was hoping someone here had purchased them and could give me a review. Pros and cons?

We like them. I just bought a pair two weeks ago and they are super cute (as all Pedipeds are). We also have the Flex, but I thought they were too stiff so I thought these would be a nice in between and they are. They are not as flexible as UMI, Riley Roos or See Kai Run (yes, we are major shoe hoarders over here as well ), but they are way better then Flex IMO.

If you happen to find them on sale anywhere please share the link.

I wanted to get these for my ds but the store only had one pair in his size and that pair had a warp in the sole that was pretty noticeable. They seemed so light and flexible, I was very disappointed to not be able to get them. I ended up going with stride rite instead, which aren't as flexible as the grip n go.

Gillian- They had the brown Giselle shoe at Piperlime.com today. (Type in a search for Pediped as I don't think it's listed under the brands they carry.) 25% off over there today only and free shipping and returns. I am seriously considering them. Trying hard to convince myself she can get by with one pair of size 6 shoes...

We ordered a pair of GGs that turned out to be too small, so sent them back... tried them on DD2's feet once. (She loved them!) They were much lighter than Flex, but seemed solid and nicely made. Same materials for the uppers.

Then Pediped sent Flex as the exchange by mistake (both models are called Alyssa), and I just went ahead and used them instead. DD2 is a confident walker, and I don't think the Flex are too stiff for her... but they have waaaay too much bulk when she's kicking as she nurses.

So I've just ordered Grip and Go's again for the next size up -- we'll see how it goes!

(DD1 was born about when they started making what are now called the Originals... she's had a LOT of Pedipeds. This year it was only possible to get them for her because they extended the top of the Flex size range... wonder how long that'll keep going?)
