Question about freezing

So my DC love TJ's crescent rolls. We enjoy them as a special treat. The package says do not freeze and I'm wondering why...thoughts? It would just be nice to be able to freeze the dough and pull them out later. oh well, at least they are good in the refrigerator for about a month. Anyone?

You mean the ones in the can? The can will explode in the freezer.

yep those, thanks! So if I opened the can and took the dough out, that could be frozen right?
