We just barely started discussing names. Im talking like less than 5 minutes of tossing ideas out there. No idea here either! DD wasnt named until after she was born and I can totally see that happening again, lol.

Yes, it usually ends with "you know who i am talking too!!!" It's especially amusing when I have to call the pedi and make an apt, they are always confused. Our dog is named Hazel, and yes the kids get called that too!

Love those names! I mentioned Jocelyn for an idea with our daughter but it got vetoed. This time I mentioned Nathan for our little boy... he said its okay so its not a veto yet, lol I also mentioned Luke

I was supposed to, but he was born January 30. I had another baby 10/08 too. Glad to be in another ddc with you. Oh my username used to be luvmy4h. Had to change that, had too many H's.

ME TOO! Although we never truly decide until the birth anyway the names we have on our list I'm just kind of meh on. I wish I could find one I LOVED. However, we had ds' name picked out 6 months before he was conceived and we still didn't decide for sure until he was born, then he didn't look like a Trent so we called him Little Doodle for about 6 wks DD wasn't named til she was 4 days old, and we decided on the only name we agreed on during the whole pregnancy! I hate naming

Actually, Nathaniel and Lukas are the only two boy names we looked at. DH said "How about Nathanie?" and I said, "Ok, now we need an L middle name because that will flow well." Looked down the page in the name book and choose Lukas. It took all of three minutes.

Previous pregnancy names choices include Andrew, Aidan, William and Edward (pre-Twilight ).

The only name we have agreed upon is Max, short for Maximilion. I really like Leonardo and Giancarlo... Not Italian but like those names a lot but partner just says 'No, Max' then walks off.
No decision on middle names yet.

I like Violet Lucia better. I wouldn't name two flower names. (that's just me)

Violet, in this case, is intended as the color, not the flower...you raise an interesting point, though, hmmm.

I know a Violet whose middle name is Lake and I think it's really pretty. Just to throw out a third option

Yeah, I can imagine it will be cute & sweet at first, but as they get older it will probably annoy them (and possibly their parents) Then again, you and your partner keep coming back to those names, so there must be a reason...could be intuition?
