Pattern for stuffed felt letters

I'd like to make some stuffed felt letters for the baby. I've seen various versions around; here are some http://www.etsy.com/listing/55930281...phabet-letters . Very cute but I think they are too expensive for synthetic felt and I don't get the feeling it is a crafts business anymore. Weird aggrandizing language on the website gives me a very off feeling.

Anyone have a pattern suggestion?

I had looked for those, too. I ended up finding a pattern in a circa 70's book in my library called the Easy to Make Toys. I think those super 70's craft books are rad, and there may be others that have that sort of thing- after finding them there I saw similar things in others (the Big Book of Soft Toys had some too, I think). You might want to peruse the outdated craft section of your library for the oldies but goodies like those.
If i could find the time to make them.. that's another story.
