2.5 days away from baby-supply loss??

I have to attend a conference for work that will put me away from DD for 2.5 days. She'll be just over 5 mo. at the time. I know this is not an ideal situation, but all possibilites have been looked at and I just have to be away (please no flames!).
I've been pumping to save up enough milk for when I'm gone, but I'm wondering what (if anything) may happen to my supply while I'm away. I will be pumping throughout the weekend.
Also, if you have experience being away from a young baby, please re-assure me that everything will be OK!!
Thanks so much!

Pumping while you're gone is key. Will you be able to pump often enough to compare with your regular nursing schedule? Also, when you get back will be able to take a "nursing holiday"? Take a few days to just hang around and nurse to bump up your supply again.

If you are able to pump frequently while you are gone (including at night too), your supply should not be affected very much. My guess is it will drop a little bit as you probably won't be able to pump quite as much as would be ideal, but your baby will get it back where it needs to be really quickly when you get back, especially if you can do the nursing holiday the PP suggested. But yeah, I think you will be fine as long as you keep to your pumping, and I have to travel for work too sometimes, though luckily it has all been day trips so far, so I understand
