How is everyone tonight? I am having slight cramps, some very mild nausea, and some lower back pain.... My SO is gone to visit his brothers tonight and then taking a trip to Georgia tomorrow to pick up a part for his car, so I am sleeping alone tonight and I HATE not having him in bed with me... so I will probably be on here and a few other sites all night lol.

Hiya. I just got most of our apartment clean (a feat for me, lol) and the LO won't stop kicking in the most obnoxious spots and locations. Its like a rapid fire jogging! I just want to rest for 10 minutes... My DH is training with the army right now so I'm sleeping alone too. Dropped him off yesterday and we're not sure how long (KID I'M TRYING TO TYPE!!) they're going to make him stay. They gave him an estimate of a week but its the army so you never really know. It feels like I'm not going to get any sleep tonight though. Now I have a cat trying to sit on my hands. DH normally plays with him when he gets home so he's been all clingy. Ahh, feels like I might be getting a break from the pummeling temporarily while the cat tries to smother me. I'm so loved...

That stinks that he could be away for so long. I would have been strong and stood by my SO if he had chose to go into the military but in a way I am selfish and glad he chose to stay and be with me... he would have been shipped off to basic training around the time our first daughter was born.
ugh... my puppy just woke up my youngest... Ill be right back lol
Enjoy your rest while you have the chance... I remember those days (and nights) well haha.

I guess I have to get used to it. I'm going to spend weeks 34-39 with him in California hoping I don't go into labor without him. He's trying to get to stay home and do something else but so far he's still scheduled to go. I can't stand being so alone... I never thought of myself as a people person (normally being limited to seeing only DH on a regular basis is enough for me) but a person can only take so much isolation! I'm pretty sore already but I'd volunteer for two hours a day if it would get me out every day to talk to real people. I'm just not sure what I'd do. Most of the volunteering around here is physical work, not something I should being *starting* in my last month of pregnancy!

Oh boy... I know EXACTLY what you mean. I am a SAHM and right now my car is not registered and wont be able to be registered until we can cough up almost $500 to do it... so I am stuck here at home with my two daughters. Its sad to say, but if I didnt have the internet to get on and talk to my friends (which are miles and miles away) and family (also miles and miles away) and talk to people on here and other parenting and pregnancy sites I would probably go crazy. I use to be such a social person... and so active and now I am stuck here... lol. I want to be free and go to the mall or the park or anywhere but here. I was stuck on bed rest for 23 weeks with my second pregnancy and I am sooooooooooooooooooo sick of the house lol.
I hope you find something you can do that isnt too physical... Are there any mommy groups in your area that you can find and join? Your LO may not be here just yet but I dont see why they wouldnt let you join up and meet some new people and make some friends so that when your LO does get here and is big enough you can have people to do playdates with.

There is a 'birth circle' group but they only meet up once a month and their last meeting was last night. I'm going to try to look for something through post but I really don't know who to talk to about it and I'm nervous they'll take one look at my huge bump and tell me there's nothing for me.

I guess I'll try once I get the sheets out of the dryer. Its a little irritating to know the rest of the house is clean and the living room still looks like a tornado (DH) hit it.
(I make a mess of it but my mess is contained to the small area my pregnant self lets me reach from my spot on the couch. His mess starts at the front door and spreads out.)
