a poop question

Thread Starter
DS is an every 4-5 day pooper and typically it's a LOT of poop but the last two poops (today and last Sat) have been smaller and thicker - really thick though not solid. He didn't seem to strain with either and his tummy is soft. Nothing seems amiss, he's a happy camper, but the amount has really changed. So I wondered if anyone has had a babe do something similar- or if it's an age thing. I can be such a paranoid 1st time mom

Some background:

Charlie is just shy of four months now. He went from several poops a day down to 1 every 4-5 days between 6 weeks and 10 weeks. He's ebf and doing great from all I can tell. We have weighed him at normal baby appointments, his weight gain has always been fine, but it's been about 5 weeks since our last visit. Wet dipe count is great like 10/day and quite wet.
