gearing up for gardisil battle

Let me start by saying I am a nurse. My daughter is vaccinated, altough on a delayed schedule. She is currently up to date but turns 10 this year. Will this be the year I will have to sign the refusal for Gardisil. Have no intention of getting this for my daughter. I am HPV+ and had a vaginal delivery so I don't know that she is not positive too. I had only 1 flare up which was 13 years ago. I have my pap every year and intend to teach my daughter the same when it comes that time. Is 10 the age they start pushing it?

I am not sure if this is a required shot?? But, my daughter is 15 & I have not given her the shot. The dr's have mentioned it the last couple of visits, but I just nod my head & they have never pressured me in to getting this shot for her.

My oldest dd turned 13 this summer, right before we brought her in for a physical. The doc mentioned it, but she didn't push it when I said no.
