Hi everyone,

Just wondering if you have any good music resources to share. We are missing the wonderful songs that my daughter learned at Waldorf playschool.

Many thanks in advance!

Have you looked at the Naturally You Can Sing books?

I taught music at a Waldorf-inspired school. My two favorite resources were The Waldorf Song Book and Sally Go Round the Moon. I'd visit the Revels book store...they have some super music books and wonderful CDs to share with children.

I also used collections of folk music...ones that stand out in my mind were an Early American one and an English one. Folk music is often simple to learn (the melodies), and the lyrics are so often seasonal, nonsensical or otherwise innocent. Plus they are usually very easy to find online to listen to for free if you don't read music.

(sorry no links, on DHs iPad and just getting used to it...will fix later!)

We love the Come Follow Me CDs (we listen to about 5 songs to "wake up" each morning while we rock). They have great seasonal songs.
