I am 41 weeks and about to start EPO. How do you take it? By mouth? Vaginally? Do you take it at night or in the morning? How many capsules? How many mgs are your capsules?

Why are you taking it?? To encourage labor?

For my last pregnancy, the midwives suggested starting with 500 mg vaginally at 36 weeks and increasing by 500 mg each week. So for you, I guess it'd be 2500 mg or 5 500 mg capsules.

They also suggested 500 mg by mouth, but just to help establish milk supply.

I've been taking 2 1000mg by mouth and trying to remember to insert one vaginally before bed.
