Couch Potato approach?

Is anyone here taking this approach? I'm just looking into managing my own investments and am learning as much as I can about it. I'm feeling a bit of trepidation going in. It's a biiiiiig world out there!

I've almost decided on TD's e-series (index funds) both for a TFSA and other investment.

Anyone BTDT and have some advice/info/comment?
