My 4 month old has been having some health issues since about 4 weeks. She is playing catch up now and I am trying to figure out if she has some catch up to do. Just wondering....what is your 4 month old doing these days?

Hmm...
Rolling back to front.
Has rolled front to back 3-4 times accidentally more than anything so doesn't really know how he does it yet.
Wiggles and pushes off with feet to get to something on floor.
Laughs
Grabs everything now which goes straight to the his mouth, not always accurately and it's still kind of jerky.
Tracks me through a room.
Holds a toy for a bit then gets super angry/frustrated when he drops it.
Is alllmost sturdy enough to just prop on my hip and carry around without worrying about supporting his upper body.

Hi,
My LO was 4 months old on Sunday. At this stage she is
- grabbing her feet in her hands and rocking from side to side. Can't quite get feet to mouth yet but she's trying.
- not rolling yet but very close. On her back she rocks and also twists so that half her body is side-lying. On her front she pushes up with her toes and lifts her bottom off the ground.
- grabs toys that are off to the side and pulls them onto her chest. Doesn't really reach for things when sitting up but grabs dangling toys from her playgym and car seat mobile thingy.
- bounces really well in her Jolly Jumper
- smiles a lot but only laughs occasionally (less than once a day sometimes)
- like Chocolatenummies, is getting close to ready for a hip carry but not quite. Upper body is pretty good but the legs still dangle a bit without support.

DS1 at this age just started to work out rolling. DS2 had been doing that since 8 weeks though! By 4 months, DS2 started to push his upper body up with his arms and he can get himself round in circles but can neither really crawl or sit up. Neither are doing much else though at that age - DS2 just turned 5 months old.

My 4 month old is a chatty Kathy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s37UPuJUPgk
She reaches for things, especially the dog, noses and hair. She giggles (only once for no apparent reason, the other times during diaper changes, playing peekaboo...) grabs her feet, wiggles to get from back to the side position (hasn't gone all the way yet). Loves to stand on her feet and can hold a teether in her mouth (mostly).

My babe is almost 4months (Oct 15th) and just started rolling from back to stomach. She also loves to grip toys and put them straight into her mouth. She will reach and grab onto any toy that is near. She can transfer toys from one hand to the next. She smiles, laughs, giggles and chuckles like crazy when you interact with her. She babbles a lot. She grabs her feet but doesn't put them in her mouth just yet. She drools a lot and I think she is starting to teeth. She likes to sit in her bumbo. She doesn't sit up by herself just yet...but likes to sit up as we support her hips with our hands.
She doesn't like tummy time very much.
When she is laying on her back, she can hold her head level with body when pulled to sit.
What a fun stage!
