Just found this site, and wow! There seems to be so much helpful information here!
I'm Helen, mummy to Matilda, who is 14 months old (July 09). I live with my DH in Buckinghamshire, UK.
A little about me/us:
I unfortunatley never got off the ground with breastfeeding. She just would not suckle at my breast at all, and after a hard hard labour & birth (complete with 3rd degree tear) I just didn't know what to do other than to feed my baby in the only way I could. So we Formula Fed. I have massive regrets, but at the end of the day we have a beautiful, happy 14 month old
We've worn Matilda in a sling since she was a newborn, and now use Woven Wraps.
We BLW'd her, with great success so far
I've recently read Unconditional Parenting, Raising Our Children, and Playful Parenting...and am so pleased to have found these books and a different way to parent our daughter. As she grows, I know it won't be plain sailing...so I'm glad to have found this site and other likeminded Mama's!
