Ditto the Leapfrog "Letter Factory" video. My son LOVES it, and it helped him learn his letters and their sounds at 3. (We weren't pushing or anything ... he just liked the video and then would come up and say things like, "Dat a 'B'! It say 'buh'!")

A third here for the Leapfrog DVDs which I really do hate to say. Really. There's something that feels a bit off with me that the DVDs taught my son how to read. We checked them out from the library and watched them a few times before they were due. For us just like HWOT was for writing, the Leapfrog DVDs were like magic. It still amazes me.
