Hi everyone!
I'm so glad to be here! I've been reading Mothering for about a year and lurking around the boards about as long.
I don't have any children of my own yet, but boy oh boy do I want them. In the meantime I'm following my dream of being a full-time doula, and studying to become a midwife....and "mothering" all my friend's children as much as they'll let me (they never seem to mind).
Interests and such: knitting and crocheting (both badly), cooking and baking, running (badly), animals of all kinds (esp horses, dogs, goats and sheep), music of all sorts, singing. I read everything I can get my hands on and I'm hoping to start a garden (my very first!) in the spring.
