love Pittsburgh? please share! - Page 2

Parents Magazine agrees, apparently...

Parents magazine: Pittsburgh good place to grow up

Parents magazine today named Pittsburgh the nation's fourth-best city for raising babies.

In May, Forbes.com named Pittsburgh the nation's "Most Livable City." In June, the Web site named the city the seventh-best place to raise a family.

(FWIW, I'm generally sort of leery of these type of rankings - but it's kind of cool nonetheless. )

Pittsburgh is a great place to raise a family! The people are friendly, there is a great feel to the city. It is beautiful with many bridges and three rivers surrounding it. There are so many fun and educational things to do here-there are plenty of educational choices, sports, museums, theatre, art, you name it...I love living here!

Late to the party but I'm a native yinzer and I love Pittsburgh too and am a product of the city schools. I work at Carnegie Mellon and we live in Morningside. Both Morningside and Highland Park (where we grew up) would also be convenient!

Hi from Highland Park! We landed here quite by accident but we love it.

Just had to add this - though it might not help you much, because while Pittsburgh is #1, Buffalo is #2!
