garlic for antibiotic purposes and breastfeeding...

We all have colds over here. I'm eating tons of raw garlic to try and kick it, quick, and I was wondering if the antibiotic/antiviral-ness of the garlic will pass through to my nursling? I know breastmilk should help him anyway, and that the *flavor* seems to cross over, but anyone know about this?

Yes, the antibiotic properties of the breast milk will pass freely on to your babe. So long as your babe's tum tolerates the garlic well this is a great way imo to fight cold bugs.
Good luck!
