this is driving me nnuts.. i really didn't have an acne problem in my teens. i could just get away with water on my face in the shower for washing.

with my other pregnancies no issues i maybe had one or two blemishes.....

This time it's awful... my nose keeps breaking out my chin my jaw line. it's awful. I have been using a cleanser at least once a day now and it's bugging me.

my hair is making me loopy too! I have fine hair but right now there is nothing i can do with it it just exists. no volume no body nothing.. well except that it's getting redder.

Also why is it so bloody cold out.. September isn't over and i feel like i need to spend my days in a parka. aren't pregnant women supposed to be warm????

but on the plus side baby is getting strong enought in her movements that DH felt a kick last night...

My acne is better since I got pregnant but I think mine was caused my PCOS. Somehow magifiying all the hormones put them back in balance temporarily.

Although now my wisdom teeth want to come in! I keep telling them no and they'll stop poking in for a little while but MAN!! it hurts when they try again. I really thought about seeing if I can get them yanked but I pushed through (not wanting to deal with the medications while pregnant).

I'm really glad for September and the cold. Its been 'feels like 100+' (sometimes with a heat index of up to 115 degrees) all summer. To be able to get under 90, its friggin awesome.

I had pretty bad skin in 1st trimester and early 2nd, then it really cleared up and has been pretty perfect since then until the last few days, when I have started getting those painful jawline cysts again. My due date is tomorrow. I remember it pretty much being the same way with DS, too, but I didn't break out until he was born that time around. I'm pretty syre I cleared back up once breastfeeding was established and my hormones balanced back out.

My skin was great for the first two trimesters, and then about two weeks before the 3rd, it got just plain awful. I struggled with acne as a teenager but this is worse. It is all down my neck, across my shoulders and chest.

I find that cleansers make acne worse, ime. I use a good washcloth and clean with warm water twice a day. This takes off any oil, exfoliates, doesn't completely dry out my skin, and doesn't leave any residue behind.

Ah, yes. I had awful cystic acne during my first trimester wioth DD. The god news is it cleared up in the second trimester, and has been at an all-time high ever since. DD's 2.5 and I still don't get breakouts like I did pre-pregnancy... almost makes up for the stretch marks!

My pimple action is way down BUT I collect oil/crud in the pores on my nose like a teenager! Yuck! I only use Clinique on my face, I use the liquid face soap in the shower, then I carefully clean my skin with the clinique astringent, with the scrubby side of my cotton pads, this seems to keep the clogged pores at bay, until the next day when I have to repeat lol.
