pinpointing allergy - food additive?

I am trying to pinpoint my daughter's allergies and thought I'd seek out some help from the pros We have pinpointed red dye for sure, but there is at least one other thing as well. She reacts when she has any type of chips (lay's type rather than tortilla chips), we stay away from those easily, but she reacts to something else as well. I was wondering if there were common food additives that may be causing her reaction.

Any advice? Help?

If she is reacting to red food dye, it's possible that other salicylates are bothering her as well which can include preservatives.

See www.Feingold.org and www.fedupwithfoodadditives.info

Some oils have preservatives (BHA, BHT) in them but they are not listed on the label. Lowfat milk with chemical vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) added has a preservative in the vitamin A, not on label.
