Bloody show

I had quite a bit of bloody show(very mucousy) today, just about every time I wiped...but now nothing...a little bit of mucous, but not tinged at all...what gives? I really thought I was going into labor today??? Hopefully, it will pick back up tomorrow or tonight, perhaps!

For what it's worth, I lost my mucous plug (with just a little bit of bloody show) about 24 hours before I went into labor.

Good luck and keep us posted! I bet it won't be long now.

I had a lot of bloody show yesterday morning. Than pink tinged mucus all day, and now some this morning. Still no contractions. I hate waiting and wondering.

Hope things pick up for you.

Hopefully things will pick up! I had bloody show a few days before I had dd3, though it was brought on by a stretch and sweep so I think that's why it took a few days for labor to start.

I hear ya Aimee...thank you! It's difficult to not get discouraged sometimes when these things happen...bleh...hopefully something will happen soon!

*TMI warning* i've been losing a lot of slightly blood-tinged mucous for about 2 weeks. i already lost a lot more (half the size of my pinky finger?) today and more than that yesterday and im starting to get concerned that maybe it's not mucous plug and there's something wrong with me. i know mucous plugs can regenerate but it seems like i should have run out by now! in any event, bloody show doesn't seem to be a sign of approaching labor for me.

macy, if you are at all concerned, my advice would be to give your hcp a call. I know it probably is just a long lingering plug, but never hurts to check it out.

I'm having more bloody show and cramping a bit more...hopefully this labor is coming up really soon!!

I bet you are close!! ELV's to you!

I had my first bloody show almost exactly 96 hours (4 full days) before baby was in my arms. I had some bloody show again the day I went into labour.
