TTC in February

Anyone else waiting to TTC early next year? I'm waiting because my hubby doesn't have a job yet and if I wait until February I get to garden and work during the gardening season (I'm garden dept. manager at Ace Hardware). I will at least feel like I got them set up before leaving and becoming a stay at home mama/farmer again and maybe they won't notice until after the outside garden dept. is built and they love me.

I'm really excited because I found out I was diabetic after the last miscarriage at 14 weeks and I have finally got it under control and am really excited about having a healthy pregnancy and having a healthy baby. I can't wait to have a little nursling again. I think a Fall baby would be wonderful, its the start of the slow season for me until Spring.

Hi Farmer Cathy, I am not necessarily waiting for February per se but waiting nonetheless There are lots of women in different threads that are in the waiting to be ready, waiting to try categories! Me personally I am waiting for my husband to be ready.

Soooo hang around, I have found great camaraderie here even though I am not actually TTC right now.

Hi mommyin2008,

thanks for joining my party. I hope you two can agree to procreate. I am so looking forward to it and I know hubby was really upset when we had our last miscarriage, this will be his first, so he is super excited. It's hard to wait, I have to be the one to tell him when we have to be protected (charting on fertilityfriend.com) and its so hard, esp. when you know when your ovulating. Though it makes it easier to avoid as well. I need to wait though, its tough.

I hear ya Farmer Cathy on the hard to wait part. My DH has made up his own rule of being ok with um...full contribution up to CD 11. And every month I hope for a super strong swimmer! (he is fully aware though of my hopes for an oops )

Good luck to the both of you when you are officially TTC! I can't wait to join actual TTC's as well as having DH excited about it. So I guess it would be safe to say I vacilate on the thought of wanting an oops baby. Then we wouldn't get the experience of trying together and waiting together. Although knowing my DH I don't think he would really want to KNOW the ins and outs of the whole procedure.

Yeah, I think trying together is the best, we had a kind of oops the first time. We weren't trying, but we weren't trying not too. but I totaled my truck and baby was 6 wks and didn't make it, miscarried at 10.5. I am blessed that myself, the dogs and my bird lived through that ordeal and walked away from it, minus a few feathers from the bird.
