Handedness question - Page 2

I'm ambidextrous and have always had a terrible time telling my right from left. I do most stuff with my right hand but can do them all left handed if I need to.

I have two kids who are ambi. One who (at 3) is very left hand dominant. And one who I think is dominant right handed... but he may also be an ambi, I just haven't noticed. My oldest ambi has a terrible time telling left from right as well... I've taught him tricks so he's not embarrassed by it like I was.

Interesting information in this thread. I think I'm left-footed but I don't know. I know my son did many sports related things left handed when he was younger, not sure how he does stuff now. I never tried to force either hand, just let them decide. It was pretty obvious by around a year that my daughter used her left hand predominantly.

In the winters I work in a daycare at the local ski area and I have noticed it is almost always easier to get a kid's mitten on one hand than the other, and that hand is usually the dominant hand.
I am pretty sure ds is going to be right handed. I am left handed and dh is right handed. My family was half lefties - my mom, my brother and me - with my dad and other 2 brothers righties.
Such an interesting subject.
