looking for something simple

hi there mamas

we are looking for an economical and easy way to cloth diaper.
We currently have the Gdiap system for dd in size small. We do not have the flushable liners, but the reusable fleece ones. She leaks everytime. What a waste of money! Plus, I cannot quite wrap my mind around what is easy about them. We have another set of diaps that another mama gave to us, but they are to bulky for babies tiny body.
We have two bumgenius, which we like. But we only have two as they are like the cadillac of diapers (price wise)

Are prefolds with covers simpler? I need something for bb as we dont have the finances to keep buying her unbleached sposies.

The problem is probably with the cover. G diapers ALWAYS leak for me! Always!

Try Thirsties covers. You can get the Duo Wraps and either use the G diaper inserts you already have or get a couple dozen of cotton prefolds (greenmountaindiapers has them!)

Honestly, I just love prefolds with snappi and thirsties covers. I never have leaks and they wash well. I was surprised by how easy it was to use them because it seemed so intimidating but they are great!

Agree

I agree. Thirsties or Bummis covers are both a safe bet.
