cervical pain twinges tenderness??

I don't know how to describe it but lately I've been casually checking my cervical position , trying to get familiar with things before I start charting next month. It seems within an hour or so of checking I have been getting twinges and shock type feelings....anyone else get this? It kind of reminds me of the feeling I had during the end of my pregnancies. I'm wondering if I have irritated my cervix. I'm careful sanitary and gentle. I have checked my cp in the past but not really regularly. I don't remember having the twinges/pains in the past except during pregnancy.

I haven't had those and I check mine regularly but I know what you are describing as far as the feelings of the end of pregnancy.

Maybe some other mama's have felt this when checking and can give you some more insight.

I've been checking my cervix for about three months, and I do get twinges and pain after checking around O time and right before and after AF. I'm gentle and careful also, so I am just assuming that at certain times of my cycle my cervix is more sensitive and easily irritated. Do you have pain every time or can you narrow it down to sensitive, hormonal phases of your cycle?

I think you nailed it. I'm pretty sure I'm about to ovulate. I think as I begin to check more regularly I'll be able to see if there is a definate pattern.
