Could it be??

I have been ecological breastfeeding DS since birth. We hadn't been apart for more than an hour, until this afternoon. I went to a class for 3 1/2 hours- nursed him before I left and upon arriving (but he wasn't really interested until much later)- and tonight (5 hours later)- I get my first PP AF! Is it just a coincidence or could it really be the separation today?

I'm going to say coincidence. But that's because my little nursling is 17 months and I still don't have my ppaf. When he was 10 months old I was away from him for 13 hours and nothing happened then, other than being extremely engorged.

yeah coincidence....presuming you ovulated right off the bat, it would've been predetermined a couple weeks ago, depending on your luteal phase length.

Yah i think it was a false alert anyway. I ran to put on a pad (after seeing brown), and this morning, NOTHING more. Bizarre.

Shwarma, I've had spotting this past week too, for like 4 days now nothing.

Could have been o spotting, especially if you are feeling crampy.

I think it's a coincidence, it would take more separation than that plus your body would have to gear up to o and then wait two more weeks for af.
