The citations in the referenced thread are basically correct. The RA 27/3 virus strain is the one from the maternal rubella case. It's separate from, but produced on, the WI-38 diploid cell line. MRC-5 is another lung-derived cell line.

The package inserts for the chickenpox, shingles, and hepatitis A vaccines, which use MRC-5, state that, "The product also contains residual components of MRC-5 cells including DNA and protein." http://www.fda.gov/downloads/Biologi.../UCM142812.pdf So the vaccines are not only made using those cell lines, but the finished vaccines actually contain DNA from the aborted fetus.

I wonder how many abortions, both spontaneous and induced, have been prevented because of the vaccine? Before it was released, there were thousands of abortions each year due to congenital rubella syndrome, or the parents' fear that their fetus had contracted it when the mom got rubella during her pregnancy.
