contractions are changing... very much starting in my back but getting strong enough I cant just ignore them.
and I saw some pink blood when I wiped...
I just hope so hard that I am not getting my hopes up over nothing. I don't think I can handle that again.
Not timing them yet. Dont think I will. Timing them wont honestly tell me anything, Ive had contractions every 2 to 20 minutes for 4 weeks!
post #24 - I have REAL bloody show OMG.
(This is DH! We are holding little Maeryn in our arms! Mae will update further later!)
Birth Story
Well first, I know you wanna see - a picture!!!!
Woke up around 4am and it was pouring out... got a contraction. Nothing new.
About an hour later I went potty and had a ton of bright red bloody show.
Called the midwife an hour later, started calling family.
Midwife got here around 8am... checked me after a while and I was 5cm WOO!
Played some Yahtzee! between contractions with hubby, chatted on here...
My last post here was around 2pm... after that I went to take a bath... WOAH. Had to potty first, had two contractions on the toilet, got in the tub, had 4 or 5 in the 10 minutes I was in the tub, got out... had one. Then another. Headed back to bed and DH started to be able to actually HELP (he felt so helpless before I asked him to sit with me like this. Rode out a bunch more like that... midwife came back in from the livingroom around 330 and told the Doula here with her that it was time for them to stay in the room (I didnt hear this, barely realized at first they werent leaving lol)
about 4 the midwife moved over in front of me and set up her stool... started getting contractions between my contractions... was yelling out I REALLY HOPE THIS IS TRANSITION! and when the contractions got lighter RELAX! RELAX! RELAX! to myself to remind myself to rest. Then the contraction before the last I laughed halfway through and said I was going to need a week long nap after this...
about 415 i started feeling pushy
417 my water SPRAYED all over the midwife... poor thing! LOL She even said she had a premonition it would happen but it still surprised her. Was a tiny tiny bit of meconium in it, but most likely due to her being a day shy of 42 weeks.
418 Mae came flying out (DH was absolutely amazed by this. I was just amazed I barely tore! Required only ONE stitch!)
This was made more amazing when the midwife informed me she was born with her arm up by her head! OMG.
And proof, she does NOT like moving her arm now lol... as you saw by the pic I posted.
