Hi. I've recently reconnected with the MDC forums. Can I participate in this thread? I'm waiting to O. I've been "on break" from TTC for the past few months, but I'm ready to get with the program and get back on track with charting and taking my progesterone. I'm also ready to do this with less stress and obsession!

Welcome Swimming-Duck! Good to have you on board!

Really, really hoping for a temp jump tomorrow morning or even the next since DH was very accommodating this weekend despite working 10 hours Saturday. I'm really hoping we made a baby last night. I wasn't even expecting a temp dip this morning but when we were DTD, I just had this feeling that I was very close to Oing... I've never O'd on CD 13 so I doubt it was today but maybe tomorrow and there has been talk of some BDing tonight so maybe we'll have some good timing with that. COME ON O! Send me some O vibes, pretty, pretty please!!!

Swimming-duck, you've been added to the list! Let me know if you want to post a chart.

If the list seems shorter to you guys, it's not your imagination, I went though and deleted people who hadn't posted in over a month... I love organizing stuff, I can't help myself and also I am trying to procrastinate doing something else

If you didn't want to be deleted, please accept my apologies and let me know so I can add you back.

AFM - I think DH is getting more enthusiastic about TTC this month. I am only 2 DPO and he is all like, "do you feel anything yet"? It's funny cause last month I had so many symptoms and he kept telling me I must be imagining things (because he didn't want me to be disappointed if I wasn't preggo).

This morning at 2 DPO he was like, "wow your boobs seem bigger" - I agree with him by the way. Is 2 DPO too soon for breasts to start feeling sore and getting bigger? Normally I get sore breasts a few days before AF, not 2 DPO, and I really don't notice them changing size. Last month I had the exact same symptoms as I have right now, I believe I may have had a chemical pregnancy that ended very early before I could get a BFP.

Thanks for starting the new thread Sourire!

Welcome swimming-duck!

And I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you, Attached2Elijah

AFM: I'm 6dpo and still feeling good. Getting occasional cramping, but nothing earth shattering. Was at Kohl's with my MIL today, and out of the blue, without having talked baby talk with her in almost a month she randomly blurted out, 'I hope you have a girl!' So that was kind of funny and also encouraging, as we were not really sure how warm to the *baby* idea the IL's were. Dh and I are in school full time, although Dh says he'll cut back to part time when and if the baby is born, since I don't have the option to go part time in my program. Initially, the IL's were telling us it was totally irresponsible to TTC while we are still in school But MO is that ds is going to be 4 this year, and I really don't want to wait much longer before we try again. We can take as long as we need to finish school, but we can't ever fix the gap between our kids once it's gone!

And even if it's tomorrow, I'll probably get another BD in tonight. Since he doesn't work today, He shouldn't be too tired! And to make things even better about Oing now... the 1st week of the 2ww should go by pretty fast as both my LOs birthdays are this week so it will be super busy and I won't have much time to obsess Maybe the stars are aligning SO wonderfully for me that I will get knocked up too! *rubs all available lucky charms within a 10 block radius*
So glad tings are working out!! !!!!

AFM: I keep looking at my chart thinking, it's gotta be this month! Between the supplements, my O shift and my good BD timing, I'm feelin' it!

What do you guys think?
Chart looks GOOD!!!!!

Sourire - Thank you so much for the new thread and for organizing!! The thought crossed my mind but I never did it!!!

AFM - I just really really want this to be my month. If not the following two cycles are pretty much shot. I know the timing will be right no matter what, but this month would just be perfect. When we got PG with DD2 we DTD everyday starting with fertile CM, not sure we still have the stamina for that. Maybe we will once, skip a day and then try for three in a row... I don't know, all i I do know is we are giving it all we got this cycle! I still have over a week to think about that though...

May I please be re-added?

Hi all, I am mymaya, 38, I have DS (9) and DD (6), and hoping for one more. I have tried two cycles, and then had so skip one due to work-trip. so this is my 3rd cycle trying for #3.

I am currently on CD7, and my chart link is this- http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1bdc8

Could you talk to me about taking B-Complex? I used to take it in college, for stress (it was recommended to me by one of my professors back then), and remember it helping, but how and why would it help with TTC?

I see a lot of you are taking it, and I assume it is related to fertility?

Thanks so much, and good luck ladies!

mymaya.

Welcome Swimming-duck and mymaya!

CLH_X3 - I was just looking at that, too!! Yay for all of the Sept BFPs!!

Attached2Elijah - O vibes coming your way!!!!

CD14 here...all crossables crossed that O holds off another week for me!

Yes the list got a lot longer yesterday because when I was searching through people who hadn't posted in a while I found some who were hanging out in the due date clubs so instead of deleting them I added them to the BFP list

I have added you back mymaya!

I personally take B-Complex because the B6 in it is supposed to help lengthen a short luteal phase... you don't look like you have that problem though!
So I am sending DH to the health food store today because there is no way I am able to choke down that maca powder. I need the capsules. That sucks because it is $24 down the tube!!!

But then part of me says not to bother because hopefully I only need it for a few more days. And then another part of me is scared not to take it in case it is what is doing all of the changes.

Because I don't know exactly what it is, but with all the supplements I am taking, my chart looks so different from last cycle it could be a different person. I O'd three days early and have nice and high post-O temps.

I just hope they stay that way.

Yep, me too. Last cycle my LP was only 7 days. Today is 6DPO, so I am hoping it works.

Cycle buddies

Gator-Mom 7DPO
SML27 7DPO
Just Lily 6DPO
lazykate 6DPO
Abbykins 4DPO
Sourire 3DPO

So Gator-Mom and SML27, you guys are the farthest ahead.... when are you planning to test?
Just_Lily... The stores around here sell empty capsules. Maybe you could stuff your own so the powder doesn't go to waste? (I am a cheapskate at heart.)

AAM... I went and got the flu shot on Thursday, and now I'm sick! I am going to see if Garlic and Oregano help, before resorting to antibiotics. Since antibiotics always screw up my cycle.

Welcome rubygirl36! You have been added!

Does anyone else get a kick out of researching what is going on in your body during the 2ww (assuming you are pregnant)?

Here is what I came up with after a bit of googling:
1) O day or 1 DPO: fertilization occurs somewhere in the fallopian tube. the combination of your egg and his sperm form the zygote.
2) 3-4 DPO: the zygote has travelled to the junction of the fallopian tube and the uterus and is now known as a morula.
3) 5-6 DPO: the morula is now called a blastocyst and is travelling through the uterus.
4) 6-8 DPO: the blastocyst starts implanting in the endometrium. Implantation can take a few days.
5) 8-11 DPO: the blastocyst has completed implantation.
6) A couple of days after implantation: the blastocyst starts production Hcg that can be detected in your urine.
7) 14-15 DPO: the blastocyst is now called an embryo
8) 19-22 DPO: the heart begins to beat in the embryo

Right now I am sending positive vibes to my little zygote (which I am sure is there ) as it travels through my fallopian tubes!

Yeah, that's what I was checking out all last week, and most likely, will again next month lol.

O vibes Attached

Welcome swimmingduck and rubygirl and hi everyone!!!

AF found me two days sooner than I expected her too , not a great surprise on a Sunday evening. So back to square 1.... CD2
