The Fabulous ONE Thread - Sept 26 to Oct 2 - Page 3

UGH! I still feel really nauseous.... but that's all so I don't know what's going on.

And can I just say I HATE HAVING A SLOW RISE!!!!! I just want a nice, clear ovulation pattern with a big ol' jump that screams "you just ovulated!" but oh nooooo I get this crap where it raises .2 degrees everyday until FF decides I must have O'd at SOME point but who knows what day that is... blah! I'm pretty sure that if I get 2 more days of the .2 rise, I will get a CD 14 O which I think is probably right but it's just crappy never knowing for sure that I had a nice strong O that just JUMPED up there! Grrrr @ you ovaries, Grrrr.

baileyann3, that makes you a cycle buddy as well! Yay!

Hykue, welcome to the ONE thread and welcome to the cycle buddies! I am also from Sask, how fun

Cycle buddies

Gator-Mom 8DPO
SML27 6-8DPO
Just Lily 7DPO
lazykate 7DPO
jojobean 7DPO
baileyann3 5-6DPO
Abbykins 5DPO
Sourire 4DPO

AFM - I am also convinced I can feel stuff going on in where I think my left fallopian tube would be. Interesting.
So it is 7DPO and I had another temp rise this morning - up to 36.9. In three months of charting I have never had a temp that high.

and

I am also on blood-watch. Last two cycles I have also starting spotting on 7DPO, but I am hoping my nice high temp and earlier O will keep it away. PLEASE!!!

I will probably be going to the bathroom a million times today and inspecting the toilet paper for tiny specks of blood. PLEASE send me all of your no-spotting vibes today (and prayers would be awesome too, if you are so inclined.)

In other news, DH went out and picked up my maca (in capsules this time!) for me. I gave him the empty bottle, and the girl at the store asked him how he was finding them.

just_lily - Sending you no spotting vibes!!!

AFM: Been MIA for a while -- trying to relax while I wait to O and had my parents visiting since Thursday. I'm on CD 11 and I Oed on CD17 the last two months. So, will probably start BDing soon. We did EOD around O last month, but might try ED this month. A friend of mine wants me to try not charting this cycle to see if it helps me relax, but I just can't. If I don't know when I Oed, how am I supposed to know when to expect AF??? Then I will REALLY be obsessing!

Hi ladies~!

Well I got a + on 9dpo! RE-tested yesterday and got a much darker line on my IC test....so it looks like I am offically pregnant! With my history of miscarriages we are very caustiously optomistic....trying to enjoy every single minute of this but yet still scared too. I am on all my meds so we are praying that this little one sticks... Please send sticky vibes and prayers.

Wishing you the best of luck. I can relate to you on the "blood-watch". I also start spotting around 7dpo and I am obsessive about running to the bathroom to check. Bleh - maybe I'm just making myself bleed from all the tissue wiping! I can't remember as I just rejoined MDC, are you on progesterone? My NP got me some and it gets rid of the spotting and it's safe for while nursing. Also, I have a history of low temps and my NP started me on Armour Thyroid and I've noticed my temps have started to increase. Just some thoughts - I don't know your history or what you have/haven't tried.

Also, we both do home daycare! It's fun and crazy all at the same time, isn't it? How long have you been doing home daycare? I've been licensed for nearly 2 years and will be hanging in there to float the family as DH has just returned to school!

just_lily : I am sending you high progesterone and no spotting vibes (unless it is implantation spotting!)

bonald2 : I know what you mean about not charting being stressful. At one point before I was TTC, my naturopathic dr told me I should stop charting for a while because I was upset about my short LP and it was stressing me out. At the same time I started some supplements to heal my cervix after an abnormal pap smear (they worked by the way!), but the supplements made me O a few days later so when my period came at CD 33 instead of CD 27 or 28 like it has EVERY CYCLE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS, I started freaking out because I didn't know what was going on.

Congrats!

Just Lilly: I'm sending you no spotting vibes, but I really doubt you are going to get AF early this month, if at all. With all the great changes you've had, it seems like you are on a roll!!

AFM: 8dpo. Still looking for signs, but feeling like I'm looking into it too much. I woke up today feeling queasy and everything in my house sounded gross except a cheese quessadilla, which is what I ate for breakfast. So..maybe early nauseousness..maybe just me being weird..lol. I'm still going to try to wait until Friday to see if my temp drops to test, but I am definitely obsessing about what my body is doing!!

KingsDaughter Congratulations!!! Lots of sticky vibes your way!
Congrats Kings Daughter.

Good luck Just Lily, I hope this is it for you, or at the very least a normal cycle with a longer LP.

I think I am getting fertile. I woke up thins morning and my cervix was very open. I am going to check it later today, to be sure. That and my sex drive is in high gear. TTC should be fun this month.

Congrats KingsDaughter!!! Wow! That September BFP list is EXPLODING! Keep it up, everyone!

I am not on progesterone. Yet. I decided to pump myself full of supplements for at least one cycle and see what happens before going in for medical help. I don't have the greatest faith in our medical system unfortunately. I am taking vitex, maca, B6 and zinc, and just started some vitamin D as well. It is definitely doing something, I can just hope that "something" is going to result in a BFP.

And yep, home daycare is both fun and crazy. I just got all four kids I have today down for a nap. My favourite time of day! It will be two years for me in January. Some days I am very, very ready to throw in the towel, but it allows me to stay home with DD while contributing to our family income, so it really is a blessing in the end.

And thanks to everyone else who is sending me no-spotting-vibes. I didn't want to multi-quote you all lest my post becomes a foot and a half long!

Have any of the cycle buddies thought about testing dates yet? I am thinking Friday, if I don't start bleeding before then. That will be 11DPO for me. September already has so many on the BFP list, it would be nice to lead the charge for October!

Best of luck. I understand your hesitancy with the medical system. I asked my home birth midwife that I had lined up for my second pregnancy for a recommendation when I noticed I was spotting every month before AF. So the woman that I found has been wonderful and has not been quick to just put me on a fertility drug (something I was afraid would happen). The downside is that it has not been quick...but she has me on several supplements and is really trying to help my body function overall - not just get me pregnant right away. I hope that you're able to get preggo on your own for sure. There are good nurses/doctors in the fertility world, but I definitely think you have to search for them!

AFM: I'm on CD8. I've had an overwhelming urge to pee frequently for the last week - pretty much since CD1. I haven't had time to go to the dr., but I took an at home UTI test. I've never used one of those before. Does anyone know how accurate they are? I have no bacteria in my urine. Not the slightest bit. My white blood cell count was high in the first one that I took - but now it's less dark on the test. But there was not even the slightest trace of bacteria either test. The frequency of urination continues. I can tell that it's not a UTI because I've had them before and this does not feel at all the same. I'm actually peeing a normal amount when I do vs. a UTI where it trickles. Sorry - TMI

I POAS a few days before AF. It was negative and I had a normal AF from what I can tell, but now I'm wondering if I should retest. But I'm honestly tired of wasting tests thinking that I'm pregnant. I don't have any in the house right now anyways. And the frequent urination is the only symptom that I have. Please tell me that I'm nuts and obsessing and should not waste my money on another stupid test that's going to be BFN.

KingsDaughter76... I hope this little one is here to stay!

AAM... I am a bit upset with my body. This cycle will probably be a waste, as I have to take antibiotics to keep this illness from settling into my lungs. And everytime I use antibiotics before O, my LP is shorter. When I take them after O, my period arrives within a few days. Either way, the cycle is shot. I will probably try anyway, since one never knows, but I know not to be too hopeful.

Dang, I would have liked a baby for my birthday.

Everybody have a Reproductive Day!

I am testing on Monday (10 DPO) if I haven't started spotting by then. Normally I would expect to start spotting on Sunday, so if that happens I don't need to waste a test. However if my B complex actually works and my period comes later than usual, I will totally freak out and think I am pregnant on Sunday. I have already warned DH, I am sure he is looking forward to it .

Swimming-duck I would totally test if AF was different than usual and/or your temps were higher than normal for this time of month. Otherwise the chances are slim I think!

Heck, if I don't start spotting TODAY I am going to be freaking out.

To be honest, I am already freaking out a little....

I guess that's the other thing. My temps are high for me. Normally I'm in the 96.2-96.7 range for pre-O. Then I go up to 97.5 and above for post-O. My temps for this cycle have been 97.3 - 97.6...BUT I didn't temp the first several days of my cycle and I did NOT temp the last several cycles. I kind of needed a break from charting for awhile. So I have no way of knowing if my temp has stayed since lp last cycle. I started a thyroid medication several months ago, so my temps could finally be getting closer to normal temps for that reason, as opposed to pregnancy. I guess I can't help my wishful thinking.
