I just ran across these clips on YouTube. They're from a British series called, "Horrible Histories." They are fab... remind me a bit of Monty Python. Great if you want to brush up on history... or to help your kids.

Here's the Henry VIIIth one...

We love Horrible Histories.

Also, Horrible Science, Murderous Maths, and all the other series by Uk Scholastic. They are expensive to buy individually, but you can find dealers who will sell you the whole sets far less expensively in the US.

We have several Horrible Histories CD's and they are great.
Groovy Greeks
Terrible Tudors
Vile Victorians
Rotten Romans
Frightful First World War
Measly Middle Ages

They're fun!!

These are family favorites around here. We especially love the Spartan vs Athenian Wife Swap. Good stuff!
