if i try to carry something in front of me that weighs more than 20 lbs, my legs will go numb and feel like they are gonna give in. i do a lot of back carries bc of that. it has been like that since 1995 and the birth of my son. i am pretty sure it was from the epidural. wuold anyone know what could be done?

Have you talked to a HCP about it? I'm thinking specifically a chiropractor?

i told the chiro about losing feeling but havent actually told him i thought they might have moved a nerve or whatever. will be seeing him this week though. and i am making an appt with the doctor. after 15 years it is getting old. it had mostly went away before DD1 but then i got another epi. sigh. DD2 was natural. i learned my lesson. but i wanted all the natural ladies input before talking to the doc etc.

Bovine colostrum helps heal nerve damage. My husband had carpal tunnel from wood working tools & it helped immensely.

i dont think it is damaged. it works fine until i move a certain way. i think they actually moved a nreve out of place and it is getting pinched when i move those certain ways. i am going to the doc next month.

Have you tried building up muscle in the area to stabilize it? Pilates might be good, it's a relatively gentle, safe way to build core muscles through body-weight exercise. And because it works your back you might get a more refined idea about *exactly* what is wrong.
