nursing frequency

This may be a dumb question. Dd is 10 months old. How many times per day do 10 mo's usually nurse? We are usually 5-6 (#6 is a nighttime feeding). What is the "usual" frequency as the get older?

I know nursing on demand, but she's never really been one to "demand" regularly, so I fit general times into our day (like upon waking, before naps, mid-afternoon, before bed, overnight) to make sure she does it several times during the day for sure. I'm not interested in weaning her anytime soon; I'm just curious how the frequency usually changes as the age.

I have a 6.5 month old she nurses atleast 8 times a day and once at night and eats some form of solids 2-3 times.. She often though has little mini nursing secessions so she can be latched on and off a dozen or more times a day.
