weaned, now breast is engorged HELP!

My son recently weaned and now my right breast is painfully engorged. Should I pump for comfort, or would that only make it worse?

Pump enough to get relief otherwise you risk getting an infection. Give him the pumped milk in a cup so it wont go to waste

yes! By all means, pump for comfort.

I did a combo of ice packs on the chest & manual expression and was OK within the week of weaning. Good luck!
